Vanessa is great, talkative, and an Arlington native. I happen to like short (not military) cuts and I've always had great results here. |

I got a great haircut (exactly what I wanted) from a beautiful, interesting woman in a clean, nice environment. The price, $15 for a man's haircut, was worth it. I usually prefer barbers, because often times stylists at salons need to be fancy or don't want to cut too much off. Not here. I couldn't be happier. |

They run a professional shop at Clarencourt. I would recommend that if you want a traditional "1" that you ask for a "1 and a half." Also, they do get busy on the weekends! |

Pauline has cut my hair for 4 years now, both when it was medium-length and now that it's very short. I keep coming back because she's consistent, delivering the same cut every time, and very friendly. |

I've gone to Clarencourt Salon several times and have now come to the conclusion that it is only really a good place to go (at least for men) if you want a very short haircut. But I always seem to come away with a haircut that is much shorter than what I intended. I, too, have asked for "just a trim" and "neaten up the sides and back" and come away with a haircut that takes about 6-8 weeks to grow back to a length where I am happy with it. (Unfortunately, without my glasses, I can't get much of a view while the haircut is in progress!) I also have curly hair, which the stylists there seem to find particularly challenging. |

I went here, thinking that it would be a good place to have my hair cut. I asked for a trim (my hair was pretty long and that's the way I like it) just to even some things up. I got out of there sheared like a (now bald) sheep. I told the "stylist" that it was already too short and SHE KEPT CUTTING. Finally, the other employees spoke to her in Vietnamese (?) to tell her to stop. As I complained, the manager was sitting there, doing and saying nothing. They must feel that they don't need customers so don't bother going. |
