Walked into O'Neils last Saturday looking for a quiet place to see the Bulls game. Stayed way, way after the game was over.

Unpretentious in the extreme. Great burgers (ask for medium well if you don't like lotsa pink). Who would have though M&Ms went so well with beer?

Extremely friendly staff and management. Even the regulars make you feel like home.

Bottom line - good place, great people! Go enjoy them, but go soon. They're closing in a few weeks.

Attitude: a very Chicago attitude, no garbage no guff!
Beer: its excellent, one of very few places downtown or in Chicago where you can get a Leinenkugel; and
Chow: its fantastic. Recommend the burger if you can handle it!

Goodplace to watch a Cubs game and have a great burger. They also have nice beer specials.

O'Neils is the place to go if you're craving a burger. They are so good, as is everything they serve there (and their margaritas on Thursdays rock). I have yet to find a better burger in Chicago and I've tried a lot!

Best Burger in Town. Friendly prompt service. Love the M&M's that come with the meal.

When you are downtown on Michigan Ave., there is plenty of shopping, but almost every place you want to eat is a chain or a fast food joint.
O'Neil's is a neighborhood bar in the middle of the busiest part of Chicago, and is a great place to get a burger and a beer. The menu and enviornment is great, and it carries on the great tradition of Howard's nightcap before it. A must for anyone on the Magnificent Mile!
