Scarpas is one of the few places where the staff takes a real interest in serving you.This has been my experience ever time I eat at Scarpas.

The food is excellent.The pastas and salads we have ordered are full of flavor without being overpowering, and the portions are more than adequate.

Scarpas can get a little loud on weekend nights.Other times are not so bad.

The only thing lacking at Scarpas is the dessert menu.The Montgomery location is close enough to Flying Star to alleviate this problem.

Another thing I like about Scarpas is the . . . well, garage doors?I guess that's what you'd call them.They are opened on warm days, giving the feel of patio dining.

I can tell you more about the food, but really, the food speaks for itself.My greatest impression of any restaurant lies in its service, and about that, I cannot say enough.Scarpas takes very good care of their customers."Care" being the operative word.

This place is so YUMMY!OMG, their pasta with red chile sauce is so divine--it's heaven!Their pizza's are fresh brick oven--mmmm.I'd like to reserve this place for any special occasion, or even just a romantic dinner.Luckily we live down the street so my husband and I went last week.

Amazing lunch at Scarpas today. Esa (our waitress) was incredible... young, attentive, friendly, funny. The food was incredible as always (our second trip since returning to the US from a 3-yr European Tour.. we KNOW Italian Food!).

We both hit the salad selection pretty hard - unfortunately, we can't remember the names of the salads we had today... the the receipt has taken a vacation! Suffice it to say... should you chose a salad, you're in luck.. wonderful flavors.. plenty of ruffiage and protein.. nuts, dressing, chicken, blue cheese, fruit... YUM! Can you go wrong!? NO!

Want an appetizer? Oh, wow... There's only one choice: Garlic Cheese Bread... 8 pieces of herbed, multi-cheesed, garlic bread + Marinara Sauce that I'd gladly offer a day's wage for... This is incredible!

Give this place a try... always packed for lunch.. haven't been there for dinner yet. Great wine selection. Excellent service.
